We are delighted to be hosting a 7 night watercolour event at Blackadon Farm, an award winning self catering accommodation. Set on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and enjoying unrivalled peace and tranquility of the beauty of the moors. We are hiring specialist chefs to cook for us
throughout the week, so we can concentrate on the important things … PAINTING!

 

We are offering 5 days of art lessons, demonstrations, and tuition with both Paul and Margot who will be on hand to support and encourage you in your art journey. You will also have a free day in which to explore on your own.

 

The cottages are so much more than just a place to stay, they offer a unique oasis for you to follow your love of watercolour painting, be it out on the moors or in the class room environment.

If your partner is not interested in the art there is plenty to keep them occupied. There are extensive hiking trails across the moors within walking distance of the farm. The nearby port city of Plymouth is only 12 miles away with a host of shops, restaurants and museums.

THE CATERING

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be prepared daily by the ‘Dartmoor Larder’, offering delicious and plentiful food, freshly prepared and served in the Great Barn. All meals are made to the highest standard offering a wide selection of nutritious, flavoursome food.

 

In the evenings join Paul and Margot for pre-dinner drinks and some social passtimes.

 

THE ACCOMMODATION

We will offering 10 single occupancy double en suit rooms in the great barn.  Please note, because this is self catering accommodation there are no locks on individual rooms. 

There is a large communal area, a separate  artroom, as well as lovely grounds to relax and enjoy.
